Endeavor Streaming is delighted to confirm Österreichischer Skiverband Ski Austria, as its latest video streaming delivery sports partner.

SkiWorldCup.Live launched last weekend at the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup season opener in Sölden, Austria.

As the new digital home for live and on-demand Ski Austria content, Ski World Cup Live delivers a wide variety of FIS World Cup ski and snow sports content across Alpine, Freestyle, Snowboard, Nordic Combined and Ski Jumping disciplines taking place in Austria. Live (for non-live TV markets) and VOD content is available on web, iOS and Android devices and with additional casting support, fans of snow sports content can immerse themselves in the visually stunning world of Austrian Ski.

Ski Austria needed a fast-to-market OTT solution that would not only deliver against immediate requirements, but also future-proof its developing and evolving digital and content strategy. The proven track record of Endeavor Streaming in enabling fast-turn deployments without compromise on quality, user experience and delivery excellence ensured that its end-to-end platform was a clear fit for both the immediate needs and longer-term ambitions of Ski Austria.

“Endeavor Streaming is thrilled to partner with the leading national ski federation, Ski Austria, in delivering a direct-to-consumer live and VOD platform that will excite fans of ski and snow sports globally,” said Fred Santarpia, President at Endeavor Streaming. “This relationship has gone from the seed of an idea to a fully-deployed, in-market solution in a matter of weeks.  It provides yet another strong example of the capability and agility of our platform, team and partnership onboarding process. Ski Austria represents our first direct partner in winter sports, and we are excited to partner with them across the seasons to come”.

“The Austrian Ski Federation is extremely excited to be able to launch this promising project with such an experienced partner and to become a frontrunner for snow sports in this space,” said Christian Scherer, General Secretary at Austrian Ski Federation. In the future, our European broadcast partner, the European Broadcast Union (EBU) as well as our domestic TV partner ORF could be integrated into this unique platform too.”
